The prophecy crap that is spouted in various religions should be ridiculed by all. First of all, it's not helpful even if true. Secondly, when it is subject to interpretation, it only leads to debate and division.

If prophecy meant anything, it would get specific: August 30, 2006, the antichrist will be sworn into office or something like that. This hocuspocusdominocus stuff is just silly.

At least the Millerites stuck their neck out. They were all waiting for Christ's return to earth on October 22, 1844, based upon calculations within the old testament book of Daniel, which was shortly thereafter renamed the Great Disappointment.
