Arthur Hayhoe, executive director of the Florida Coalition to Stop Gun Violence

Ole Arthur might as well pin a $100 bill to his a$$ and scream; "Victim here! Victim here"

Geesh!

The gun grabbing scumbag Hayhoe admits: ARTHUR HAYHOE: There is a concealed weapons law. I have a concealed weapons license. Now, let me tell you after this bill is signed by the governor, all the gun owners out there are going to hear, I don't have to retreat, and if I feel threatened, I can pull that trigger.

(Arthur Hayhoe, executive director of the Florida Coalition to Stop Gun Violence)

Apparently, only gun grabbers should be allowed to have guns.

Gun Safety Activist Enters Florida House Race

3/30/2004

Arthur Hayhoe, a longtime gun-safety activist, has announced that he would challenge state Rep. Ken Littlefield (R-Dade City) this fall because of two controversial gun bills that Littlefield co-sponsored, the St. Petersburg Times reported March 25.

Hayhoe, a Democrat, decided to enter the race after Littlefield co-sponsored bills that would protect gun ranges with lead and arsenic pollution from lawsuits from state environmental agencies, and prevent the state from creating a list of gun owners from gun-sale records.

"When I saw Ken Littlefield co-sponsored them, I said, 'I've got to do this,' " said Hayhoe, 71, volunteer executive director of both the Florida Coalition to Stop Gun Violence and Floridians for Gun Safety. "These things are terrible."

Despite his two decades of lobbying for gun-control and gun-safety measures, Hayhoe said his campaign would also focus on other issues.

To date, Hayhoe is the only person who has filed to challenge Littlefield

Would-be candidate to campaign another day
Letters to the Editor
Published July 20, 2004

-----------------------------------------------------------

Editor: The missing proper signature on my submission coupled with a very late review of my submission by the state, which did not allow me sufficient time to reach Tallahassee to make the necessary correction caused my failure to qualify for state House seat 61. The error was my fault entirely, and I apologize to those who have supported my candidacy.

However, I will run again in 2006. We have not heard the last about House Bill 155 that was co-sponsored by Rep. Ken Littlefield. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement and other law enforcement agencies around the state are resorting to legal review of this law to determine the scope and meaning of the new law, indicating just how badly this legislation was constructed.

Also, the board of directors for Florida's First Amendment Foundation and my organization, the Florida Coalition to Stop Gun Violence, are still reviewing options to file a lawsuit to stop the implementation of this law.
