The "data" you have is most likely less than impressive to anyone who actually understands statistics. But even if it is as you say it is because of the difference in input to the educational process.
Are you shocked that children with two concerned parents deeply involved in their lives turn out better prepared for life than those with a crack ho for a mom and no dad in sight?
Try comparing them to MY children.

The data is highly impressive to me and statistics happens to be one of my areas of expertise.

That was a well stated summation of homeschooling.
BTW...I'm not going to compare my homeschooled children to your children since it would be too personal. However, let me caution you...be careful what you ask for unless you know that you can deliver.
