Teacher forces preschooler to relieve herself in front of other students
WBIR (NBC-10 Knoxville) ^ | 4/7/5 | Jennifer Geiger , Producer

Posted on 04/07/2005 10:50:56 AM PDT by SmithL

A Knox County teacher is back on the job after making a pre-school student relieve herself in a bucket in front of other students.

It happened in early March to a little girl at the Sam E. Hill Family Community Center.

Sheila Knight was put on leave while the school system looked into the allegations.

DCS also investigated and found no evidence of abuse.

Knight later admitted to the accusations, called it "a severe lapse in judgment," and got a strong written reprimand. School officials say that was the strongest punishment allowed at the time.

Knight, who has worked for Knox County Schools for almost 20 years, is back on the job.

The student is in another classroom.

She should have been stripped of her credentials and sent to the unemployment with a note saying this woman cannot ever work with minor children ever again. Find a new line of work.

If a parent would have done this, they would be in jail and their children taken into protective custody.

Teachers apparently are exempt of the same punishment.

my mother took my brother and i over to visit her sister, who was baby sitting her grand daughter.

so, my cousin brings her potty out into the living room, drops her pants and pees for my brother and i.

her grandmother picked her up and the potty and removed her to another room.

It was probably viewed as an art project funded by the NEA.

I just did a search on fools and wisdom and copy pasted verses in pretty much sequence. Anything you read into them was an ink blot test.

Exactly. Without explanation, context, or even proper reference, they couldn't be anything BUT an ink blot test.

And so I say, thank you yet again.

I should have clarified. There are mistranslations to Hebrew scriptures. The Torah.

Is Strong's a Christian source? If it is, then of course you will find the definition that you want. In Hebrew, the language, almah does not mean virgin. Betulah does.

Jews For Jesus. Of course. A predatory Missionary group that targets college kids of unobservant families. Too bad they don't have the intelligence, education, or cajones to go up againt rabbinical students.

Which is why I give to Jews For Judaism.

And it is wrong and liguistically dishonest to assume that almah means virgin. The word for virgin exists. If it had been meant as virgin, betulah would have been used.

As I have said before, Judaism is passed along maternal lines for a reason. You always know who the mother is.

Did you read the text from either link? The issue of the meaning isn't exactly chrystal clear to anyone, except you.

I could go to the trouble of providing more links, for your bias runs deep. Here goes.

No, I do not wish to see more Christian sources. As if there isn't a bias there. LMAO.

You know what's amusing? At the Israeli Independence Festival and the L.A. Jewish Festival, they let the Jews for Jesus people set up a table. Outside the parking lot, with a police barrier keeping them there.

The issue is clear to Jews. But then again, we don't need to prove our faith to you, now do we? We don't run around harassing people with tracts and the like. We are bit more live and let live.

Here's a link for you to study Isaiah 7:14....unless, of course, your bias runs deep.

The issue isn't an issue for me like it apparently is for you. The problem in having multiple words mean multiple things is often encountered in our daily lives. When one insists that one or the other multiple meaning is the only possible meaning, one has an agenda. You have an agenda.

Its clear to me that the original text could mean either or both. In fact, the fact that Mary was betrothed to Joseph when she became pregnant makes the choice of words to apply to her, all the more difficult.

I believe that argument was covered in my first link.

Why bother? The first link I posted was a debate between view points. The fact you provide me another link that covers the same tell me you have a closed mind.

Its clear to me after reading what I found and what you linked to, that the proper translation can be either. A young woman can be a virgin.

Its clear to me, the issue isn't clear.
