Results justify the means. "Ends" is liberal code for cause. That's how they justify socialist enslavement programs like welfare. They mean well, so it doesn't matter if the result of the program is pandemic disaster for the very community they tried to help.
I don't equate welfare with starving and dehydrating someone to death.
