Watching the replay, I was struck by how strange it must be to pay homage while having flashbulbs going off in your face every few seconds and knowing TV cameras are beaming this solemn, most personal moment live all around the world.
I am sure glad I got home in time to see this. What an historical moment!
Yes, kristinn. That's something that I hadn't thought of, and it is unimaginable, given those circumstances, to have the ability to block it *all* out, during one's thoughts and prayers of the moment.
My hope and prayer is that our great Prez and his delegation were able to successfully do so, and have their moment, completely and in calm.
