As a person who has a relative diagnosed as being in a PVS, I would say to you I am of the opinion your conclusion that Terri "died" 15 years ago is not accurate. I am aware that all patients with this diagnosis are not identical; however, I am also aware of this diagnosis being overused and NOT applicable to every person who is "like Terri". I say this from very personal experience of which I have posted here on this very forum recently.
Would you at least preferred to know that more recent testing was done, alternate therapies now available were attempted and oral feeding was attempted BEFORE she was starved and dehydrated to the point of death?
If, as you speculate, she was "dead" do pray tell what would the harm have been in this?
Sorry about the duplicate post.
