A lock of baby hair is useless; if she was being given illegal substances, it would only show up in hair after the fact. The Schindlers were pretty much under guard every time they saw Terri, so it's unlikely they could have cut her hair. Plus, that might have been considered "therapy" or some other illegal activity per Judge Greer.

Oh...so the Schindler's didn't want the hair for sentimental purposes; they wanted it for forensic purposes? Kinda' hard to believe that someone couldn't have cut off a bit of hair w/ a pocketknife or small pair of scissors. Or collected strands from a pillowcase or Terri's hairbrush.
And what would be the point of anyone giving Terri 'illegal substances' anyway? Given the court rulings, it would be pretty foolish, wouldn't it?
