I have really tried to side with the "Pit Bulls are no more aggressive than any other dog" crowd and just blame it on the owners. But it is just getting out of hand.

I notice gang wannabees around here all have nasty looking pitbulls. They don't have cocker spaniels or Pomeranians, oddly enough.

The people who breed these dogs for fighting should be put in jail.I also have to question the IQ of someone who buys this type of dog off some bum in the street.People who breed dogs irresponsibly are ruining Rottweilers,Doberman,German Shepard,Bulldogs and other breeds.I see it happening with the rear breed mastiff I bought eight years ago.When I bought him there were only ten breeders of the breed in the US but today there are hundreds.These dogs are big and have natural guarding instincts that don't need to be bred into them.People are making a lot of money off of putting dangerous dogs in homes they don't belong in.Even the pet store at the mall is selling Neapolitan Mastiffs which get to be over 200 pounds to buyers who have no idea what they're getting.There needs to be something done about the over breeding of animals by people who are unqualified.
