I had to take the Kubler Ross course in college...laughed myself silly all the way through, when I wasn't crying over the tragedy of the reasoning. The one that got me most was her contention that Christians are just as afraid of death as everyone else. They say they're not because they're trying to find a "brave" way to face death. Didn't do me a bit of good to argue that one from a Christian perspective, I can tell you that.
I do agree with you. The only thing that made sense to me in college were the 5 stages themselves - because when you apply it to your own life you do see that it fits. HOWEVER - from a Christian point of view, I do disagree with her logic of OUR fears.
But, if you do not know The Lord - you can't understand it. Kinda like Nutrition - if you do not realize how the micronutrients work in your body, you can't possibly understand what that Big Mac is doing to your system!
Thanks for the input! JK
