I believe it is a widely known fact that people who do what they believe is morally correct get a good feeling from doing the right thing.
I know I do. I wouldn't go so far as to call it "having a good time" but I know it feels good.
I think it's God's way of letting you know that you're doing His will.
Very well put. That was something I was thinking. too. When you help a brother or siter in Christ - no matter what the circumstance, it gives you a lift spiritually.Even if the outcome is not what WE on Earth want - we as Christians must put our wants aside and live in God's will. Terri was put in His hands a long time ago. That, however, must be a very difficult concept for Matthews to grasp.
Especially when you consider his comments regarding the Pope. Who is HE to question motives of grieving people - he should, rather, take a long look at himself. JK
