One problem is that hospice staff will tell relatives that "there is no hope" and the relatives don't bother to get a second opinion or to REMOVE THEM AND TAKE THEM AWAY. We should care for our own at home, it's the old fashioned way. They have visiting nurses that is covered by Medicare. Better to have a visiting nurse drop in than to end up in a bad hospice whose goal is turnover of "patients" (victims) and fundraising. Non-profit is another LIE.

And for those with no family to take care of them, I would tell them NOT to go to ANY hospice, go to a regular nursing home, instead.
