People are fleeing the Republican party in groves, I understand. I heard the other day that this issue is causing the Conservative Christians to rise up and say " no more". A angry Republican called Sean yesterday and said he had given up on the party. This isn't a small segment of the Republicans.......this is the base that voted them into power!!!!!
And may I remind us, that conservatives came out in droves this last election to vote. The reason why? Moral Issues. It was horribly immoral what happened with Terri. I am not ready to give up the party just yet but I am deeply deeply disappointed in the outcome of this. We have every right to be disappointed.
I put in my 2 cents, which is to say that it dismays me to no end to see this conservative forum eat their own, instead of doing some basic constructive criticism.
I don't like what happened in the Shiavo case. But I still respect the law, and if it should be changed, there are decent ways to go about it.
Making fun of our President and engaging in a witch hunt is not my style.
I won't be responding on this thread again. sw
I agree Polly. I am fleeing the Republican party. Not because I'm not a Conservative, but obviously I'm to Conervative for them!!!!!
