I was visiting Tom Tancredo's website yesterday, whom I usually like, and this was on it:

Tancredo Statement on Majority Leader DeLay

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Tom Tancredo (CO-06) today said of embattled Majority Leader Tom DeLay (R-TX):

“I believe that all of the charges against Tom DeLay I have seen to date lack merit. I believe they are being leveled in the hopes of brining him down, and with him the Republican Majority,” said Tancredo. “However if the Majority Leader were to temporarily step aside so that these trumped up charges can be dealt with in a less hostile environment, as they have proven to be an unnecessary distraction, it may be a productive move.”'

Back to "Sun" OK, now it was good that Tancredo said that charges against DeLay lack merit, etc.

HOWEVER, Tancredo said that DeLay should "temporarily step aside....." I e-mailed Tancredo and said that if an effective Republican should step aside each time there were BOGUS accusations, nothing good would ever get done.

That's why I think we need to call our congresspeople and U.S. senators and tell them to support DeLay.

DeLay did absolutely NOTHING wrong, but when the Dems DO do something wrong, they stand by each other.

Pelosi was actually FINED for wrong doings, & she's still there.

I also called the Republican National Committee and told them that Republicans don't support each other when the chips are down.

I got word of Tancredo's Rat Credo on Fox News Channel when they giddily posted their graphic "2nd Republican Calls for Delay Ouster".

I called Tancredo's DC office but his voice mailbox was full. I called his Colorado office and left the message he should recant or resign.

I called Delay's congressional office but the voice mailbox was full. I called the majority leader office and left a message of support.

I called Hastert but his voice mailbox was full. I called majority whip Blunt and left a message Tancredo must be disciplined.

I emailed president@whitehouse.gov, vicepresident@whitehouse.gov, and kenmehlman@gop.com (also chairman@gop.com) to support Delay and discipline Tancredo.

I will be faxing tonight.

Tancredo purported to be such a hottie for border control but called on the Minutemen to stand down.

Tancredo saw Delay is effective so betrayed him to grab headlines.

Again, the remedy for Tancredo is to sit him down and tell him his dog-waste facial may have made him the darling of the leftist propaganda machine but has made him weasel non grata among his former party.

Now we have Howard Dean ranting to a homosexual breakfast that Democrats will make an issue of Terri Schiavo, and of Delay's support for her.

The enemies of life stand up and identify themselves.

The defenders of life have likewise done so.

And a footnote: Tom Delay never recruited for the Ku Klux Klan, nor killed any women in his Oldsmobile, nor ran any homosexual prostitution rings out of his townhouse--so many things Tom Delay has never done that the anti-life pols have indeed done with impunity.

Et tu, Tancredo?

So who's left in Congress now? Just Tom Delay?

I have always supported Tancredo except on this issue. He is totally wrong.

Many other politicians have had relatives on payroll, etc. Yet no big fuss. You cannot give in to bullies. They will keep demanding more and more. And strange how some of the people who defended Clinton when he was dividing the nation, causing a great turmoil, are now among the most vocal in screaming about DeLay.

BTW, Supreme Court justices, such as Bader, have accepted huge gifts. Judge Greer received contributions from sources that made him have a conflict of interest in Terri's case.
