Jeb knew of other and proper alternatives, but didn't take them. In Jeb's case, he knew of what would work and what the God of his faith would direct, and instead chose a lesser god.

Once again, what a scary thought he might have been taught such stuff in his own home and would bring that teaching to his role as Lieutenant Governor to Greer.}

I read your thread piece in which you gave your viewpoint as you stood outside Woodside Hospice on Terri's behalf...very telling, thoughtful, inspiring work, 8mm.

Here in this post, I took it that someone had written that my explanation of Jeb is "just a theory". (I haven't had time to read all that was posted, so that is my surmise.)

Point taken, but I would consider it almost too obvious to argue against.

Please consider that almost the whole of this country now believe that the Judiciary has the final say over every legal dispute, even when it crosses the line into social policy, foreign policy, national defense, you name it. It would be odd indeed for the Bush family - scions of the American System of Governance as they are - to hold differently from almost the whole of America.

Don't mistake George W's sterling leadership after 9-ll for some kind of revolt against the system...absolutely not. As Commander in Chief, he saw his role clearly and unquivocally as the only one Constitutionally mandated to lead us against our enemies and to secure this nation. Just as Franklin Rooselvelt after Pearl Harbor. That the Dems and Lib Media oppose him shouldn't make us doubt the absolute correctness, historically, of his role.

However, the weight of history(save for the Founders' intent), practice and opinion is also on the side of the Judiciary's word being "law of the land". We here know what a distortion that is, but it is clearly and unequivocally the majoritarian view in America. At some point, people like the Bushes have got to wake up. America has changed from within the Judiciary. We have social dictators and pro-death judges taking us over, and words alone cannot roll back this slow-moving but deadly juggernaut.

Call it a theory about Jeb and George or whatever; it is so clear that these are good men, well-intentioned men, religious men, moral men and yet...and yet...they do not believe in taking action independently and against Judicial rulings, much less against Judicial restraining orders. Bash them, trash them, ad infinitum...it misses the point and is only hurtful to many, with no good purpose served. Better to say the obvious...they don't get it, just like the vast majority in America.

The Founders had something different in mind, I have no doubt from what little of their history I know. But I am not in office under this evolved Judicial Rule, my family are not Scions of the American System of Governance as are the Bushes, and I am not as captive to my times as I see these men are.

Would that their vision - George in trying to build a stronger America in a safer world...against terror and rogue states - and Jeb for the economic and educational development of Florida - extended to their realization that this horrific Judicial Rule is dangerous for this nation and must be addressed directly...if not by the legislative and executive branches, then by the people in the streets.

I really hope you are right. I really hope our Executive and Legislative put the balance back pronto with the Constitution as their word.

I am not yet ready to concede our great country to the mob rule which would allow the takeover by the Judiciary. That takeover is what I witnessed at Pinellas Park. I really hope I am wrong.
