TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - Legal setbacks for Terri Schiavo's parents continue even after the brain-damaged woman's death.
The Pinellas County Medical Examiner's Office denied the parents' request to have independent medical experts observe Schiavo's autopsy has been denied.
Over their seven-years-long legal battle, Bob and Mary Schindler sought independent investigation of their daughter's condition. They wanted to select a neuropathologist and a forensic expert to observe her autopsy.
The autopsy was completed yesterday. Results are not expected for several weeks.
Terri Schiavo's body was cremated today. Her husband plans to bury her remains in a family plot in Pennsylvania. He is required to tell the Schindlers about any memorial services he plans for her, and where the ashes are interred.
The Schindlers have planned their own memorial service for their daughter Tuesday night in Gulfport.
Have you ever said one thing of interest? I have yet to see it. Just taking up space and trying to be profound.
You forget the murder of six million began with the murder of one.
NOTA BENE: Please notice the following:
1) NO physician signed this Certificate for Woodside Hospice House.
ERGO: Michael Schiavo and Greer acted without a medical license.
ERGO: They had to murder her and cover it up.
2) Look at the "Terminal Diagnosis.
It appears to have been changed after the fact. It was clearly written while the
rest was typed, AND in a handwriting different from the rest.
In medical records, that is a sign of tampering. I bet whiteout is underneath.
3) The Certificate states she will live less than 6 months.
Yet they took $$$ from the insurance company(ies?)
and you know the rest.
ERGO: They apparently had to murder Terri to cover it up.

The law is a ass.
Yup, I stand corrected.
Look at your "demeaning" and crude comments in post #193 and other posts, then come back and tell this poster about seeming "pretty demeaning".
You are not doing your argument any favors with your past dozen or so less-then-decent remarks.
In high profile cases, every pathologist wants to observe.
Wecht is detested by pathologists everywhere,,he is known as a jerk who wants fame and is a pain in the neck. He was not asked, he asked himself.
Thogmartin is a forensic pathologist, he knws how to do an autopsy, the evidence after an autopsy consists of slides and pictures of organs, anyone can look at them if there is a need. Watching the cutting and slicing is not particularly revealing to any observor.
I think Thogmartin was right in his refusal and I think this thread is full of people afraid of a coverup. I say watch and see and dont set your opinions in stone.
all the evidence including the bone xrays will be evidence for any expert to peruse.
I wouldn't ask Cyril Wecht to a cocktail party. He is sort of like Joe Biden.
Also, the evidence was cremated, rather than held
might there be an inquiry, or question, or grand jury.
You are misinformed.
The organs, brain and xrays are in the office of the ME. They will be destroyed at a later day. LOoking at gross organs occurs in the autopsy, all organs are weighed and photographed and described. But the real evidence is the microscopic examinatin of the brain and organs.
And brains are kept in big buckets in formalin as are organs.
Have you been to or done an autopsy?
How many autopsies has Wecht done?
Why do you ask?
From personal experience, Wecht is a world class jerk and media hound.
You all forget the ME examineers office down there has had a housecleaning under Thogmartin. Google him and read what he has done since being down there after that last lame excuse of an ME.
I think there are five or six other deputy ME's all of whom as pathologists and my guess is all of them were there.
I think if you had seen an autopsy you would know it is very ritualized. They do the same thing for every one. They are exhaustive, look at every organ, weight, take pics and describe. Then they are all cut in multiple sections for the microscope. A forensic exam is more exhaustive and requires more skill so that is why Thogmartin is a forensic pathologist which requires more training.
I think we are so disillusioned as to how this terrible miscarriage of justice could occur that we expect even more nefarious behavior down there.
All I am saying is no evidence is destroyed in an autopsy. It is preserved, the organs, photographed and the slides are there. I don't think there will be any "cover up"
Answer the question asked, please.
I know Cyril here in the 'Burgh. He is nothing like Joe Biden. Cyril is bald and Biden has plugs.
;-)
****
Seriously, Cyril likes to hear himself talk, but he has a lot to say.
Your rough assessment of him is not correct.
Also, you wrote, "He was not asked, he asked himself." Who suggested that he was asked?
Bring up Wecht at a meeting of pathologists and you can get an idea of how he is regarded professionally.
The ME serves the state, justice. He does not serve the families. He is independent and professional. This one appears to be from what I have read of him. He does not need to have anyone there for "fairness". All his work will be available for anyone else who wants to give an opinion.
All this demanding observors is some lawyer's idea. Brings to mind Johnny Cochran demanding observors at the DNA labs. It is a distraction.
But please cut it out with these over the top Nazi analogies. Diogenesis
Actually it started before the Nazis by an enlightened progressive secular humanist government. So youre right to keep mentioning the Nazis in comparison to what happened here is not right, they just used what was already law to do what they did.
I have no idea how many posts he has done. That has nothing to do with my opinion. He could have done a million and I would have the same opinion.
I believe people are whipped up into expecting, looking for, seeing conspiraies everywhere and this is part and parcel of that.
What's the class right under "world class jerk"?
What personal experience do you have with old Cyril? I've known the guy for 30 years and he's brilliant, a little verbose, but brilliant!
By the way, if he were a "media hound", as you proclaim, how would that have effected his observance of the examination?
yes.
He would walk out of the room, go straight to the microphones, have endless tv appearances and in general turn his observation into his much desired media experience.
