I try MisterRepublican, God knows I try. Wrath is a powerful thing when seeing a murder committed on national prime time.
The mind is willing but the flesh is weak.
Sorry------The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.
you're okay PBrown.
Rom. 12:19 is addressing personal vendettas not the longing of the human spirit for justice.
I admire all who are praying that no harm come to Michael simply because they are obeying what they have been taught is the correct response to their enemies.
Fact is, Michael has committed murder. Murder carries a capital penalty in scripture. True, it is not the private individual but the government who is tasked with carrying out the punishment.
We come under judgment if we take the law into our own hands.
Nevertheless as Scripture says "When the wicked perish there is shouting." (Prov. 11:10.
No need, all, to feel guilty for wanting justice.

Let's say a simple prayer for Michael,.....not in arrogance, nor in judgment. Please read and consider prior to prayer and pray per faith and fellowhsip in Him.
First, if the reader is a believer, let's first simply, individually pray to the Lord through Christ and confess our sins to Him, by 1John 1:9, thereby returning to Him on His terms.
Secondly, Lord, we recognize Terri suffered physically and pray that where she remained faithful to you, she also be glorified and rewarded. We also recognize that as Terri suffered physically, Michael will most likely suffer soulishly, whether he has scarred his soul to the point of being numb to it, or by a hardened heart. But in all cases, Lord, we recognize that while we remain alive prior to the first death, we all have an opportunity to come to You, Lord, through faith in Christ, have everlasting life through the Son, and no temptation is too great than that which may be resisted.
We pray that Michael might endure as Terri, perhaps even moreso, from any and all temptation, and follow your will in all things. That perhaps he might find you Lord and return to You on your grounds, by Your will, and glorify you.
Just as we do not know all things, if this doesn't happen, then we still glorify you and thank you for your will and pray your will be done, not ours. Through Jesus' name we pray, Amen,....or we believe it.
