To: worst-case scenario

That would be unfortunate. The President SHOULD be the leader on this, but if he can't or won't he should get out of the way and let Tom Delay get the job done.

I'm not bashing President Bush, but Mr Delay seems to be the only Republican with a backbone in Washington right now.

One of the very few. My congressman(fluke, I live in Cal)
is a good man who never backs off of anything. Rep Elton Gallegly.
