Heavenly Father, one of your greatest servants is coming home to you. Thank you for sending this great man to us, and we ask that you crown him with the glory he has worked toward his entire life here on a failed and sinful Earth.

In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

This Presbyterian joins the world's Catholics in mourning John Paul II's passing. He was a great man, a true warrior for Christ and for good in the world.

"Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die."

- John 11:25, 26

Amen to that. We were blessed to share the earth with such a great man. My immediate picture was of Pope John Paul arriving at the Pearly Gates in his skis! I mean no disrespect--he was a very charming man. Guess I was thinking about the editorial treatment of his passing. His life was an inspiration of all of us. May God Bless his soul.
