Correct me if I'm wrong, but the general claim among Terri supporters is that Michael was nice to Terri until he received the malpractice money, and was a monster after that. I don't see how Mary Schindler's admiration for Michael at the malpractice trial would contradict that claim in the slightest.

The Schindlers took Micheal and Terri into their own house at the very first. (now...this is all testimony...kay?).
While they were doing the lawsuit they were very much behind Micheal because: 1.they never saw the bone scan, and 2. they wanted to help him in every way help their daughter.

The Schindlers supported Micheal financially, payed for Rehab sessions out of their own pockets and waived it all that he would 'pay them back' by taking care of Terri...they really just cared about that. They signed over guardianship to make things easier for him, because they (as most normal people) never considered that he was a murderer at heart.
(now...wouldn't it be nice if evil people would just grow a pair of horns for the rest of us to be able to see who they are?)

WHEN the checks were cut, They then found out about the DNR, and that all rehab had been stopped, that is when they fought over 'money'. They did not know about the bone scan, and that the fact that the rehab had had the bone scan was taken because Terri would yell out 'pay! pay!' (pain!Pain!) during rehab sessions.

The facts are that the no rehab, DNR notice and no tooth brushing requirements of Micheal Schiavo are well documented by the family fighting him every step of the way.

They begged to have rehab for 13 yrs, they begged to be allowed to have her celebrate holidays, they begged to be allowed to take care of her.

They wanted her to live....and that is a fact...not for money, but for love.

As far as Micheal Schiavo?
There a bone scan he has yet to answer for with incontrovertible evidence that *someone* beat the living snot out of the late Terri Schindler Schiavo.
