This is a real poll, instead of the slanted poll the MSM was doing.

"If a disabled person is not terminally ill, not in a coma, and not being kept alive on life support, and they have no written directive, should or should they not be denied food and water," the poll asked.

A whopping 79 percent said the patient should not have food and water taken away while just 9 percent said yes."

Most of the MSM was careful to make sure people do NOT understand the situation and the facts of the case.

Looks like George ("Flick-Tongue") Felos and the other death-to-Terri folks have some 'splainin' to do.

Where does the medical community come down on this? O'Reilly showed himself on the issue, cutting off people who answered his questions unsuitable to his ideals. He had tunnel vision on this, restating the "facts" and flat out ignoring other points of view.

True, and that is going to come back and bite them in the butt. The truth about what has happened to Terri is coming out and the American people are starting to figure out that their opinion regarding "pulling the plug" was used to kill Terri. The two situations are completely different. One is withholding extraordinary measures to keep someone alive, the other is starving a perfectly healthy body with a disability.

Maybe FR will learn a little something about how to word a poll.

Current Poll options re: James Madison...blah blah blah...is it a myth?

No, but headed that way (in other words: no, but soon to be yes)

Yes, always been that way (the eternal yes)

Don't Know ('NO' is not an option - if you mean 'NO' you clearly are confused and you really mean 'Don't Know')

Pass (I couldn't find a real NO option, so I guess this is all that is left for me)

This is what happens when politicians allow polls to manipulate them. The MSM was so intent on killing Terri they manipulated the polls and some in Congress and in Florida ran scared rather than to save Terri.
The MSM has no conscience, morals nor desire to print the truth they are nothing more than Propaganda machines for the Liberals in America.

"This is a real poll, instead of the slanted poll the MSM was doing."

A real poll? Or a poll slanted the way you like it?

"If a disabled person is not terminally ill, not in a coma, and not being kept alive on life support, and they have no written directive, should or should they not be denied food and water," the (Zogby) poll asked."

What's with the "not this" and "not that"? I'm sure that Terri's "not" a lot of things. And the inflammatory "If a disabled person" -- oh, c'mon!

Most importantly, though, is the "no written directive". Why not add the truth, "but a verbal directive". Would it hurt to add that?

How about, "If a brain damaged patient, with no hope of rehabilitation to conscious life, being kept alive solely by a surgically implanted feeding tube, having found by a court of law to have previously expressed a verbal (but not written) desire not to live in such a state -- should that wish be granted?"

Tell me how that isn't closer to the real truth than that biased Zogby question.

Americans sat on two sides due to the lack of info by the MSM.

If you are in a rural area - or one of those people who only watch the local news and the national nightly news - your opinion is swayed greatly by the lack of reporting.

And of course, if you are on the other side - you are getting your news from biased sources anyway. JK

Thanks for posting this. And good on Zogby for doing a real poll. I was really starting to fear for my country, except for that, of course, I know what bs artists the MSM really are.

We need to make sure that this will never happen again to anyone.

1. People need to be educated about the facts.
2. Demand that Congress take action.

Most of the MSM was careful to make sure people do NOT understand the situation and the facts of the case.

That includes FOX.

With the exception of "personalities," such as Sean Hannity, Fred Barnes, and John Gibson, Fox's OFFICIAL stance was "whatever Greer said is the truth, is the truth." Hence, Fox reported half-truths as truth en toto, which is INTENTIONAL MISREPRENTATION OF THE FACTS of the entire case.

Fox has lost my viewership because of their intentional lies and misrepresentations, and many others for the same reasons.

It's still pretty disgusting that as many as 9% support murder. Where are we going, and what am I doing in this hand basket?
