They're beautiful from a distance, but MESSY!!!

I used to live in an apartment complex that had a recirculating creek thing running through the complex. The geese loved it, but you couldn't walk on the grass in your bare feet. I finally fully understood what "crap through a goose" really means. LOL.

I was feeding the babies once, and ran out of bread. I went back in to get some more. The babies followed me in. I had to carry them out, quickly, before they made my apartment like the yard outside! Amazingly, the parents didn't care at all when I scooped them up and put them outside.

We're putting a rather decent sized waterfall and pond in our backyard, and I'm hoping I won't have geese. I wouldn't mind an occasional duck, but I'm hoping the geese will stay in their nice big pond across the street.

Why were you feeding them, if you didn't like where the bread ended up?
