Hasn't she been violated enough?

Not very pertinent. The question should be, what is the law regarding observing an autopsy? Is the law unconstitutionally vague? If there is no law, is there policy? Is that too vague? If it is at the discretion of the ME, how has that discretion been applied in the past? If the ME has allowed interested observers before, it would be a violation of equal protection to deny it now.

Rule of law and all that.

While I tend to agree with you, Rule of Law, without common sense and justice, is what brought us to this sad place.
