This is typical Yankee ignorance and prejudice. Pinellas County is full of Northerners and other assorted snowbirds, so don't resort to snotty remarks about Southerners being inbred. Both the Schindlers and the Schiavos are perfect examples of the Yankee presence.
I should have been more specific and made a reference to everyone in position of power instead of a blanket statement covering everyone.
Having said that, I need to point out to you that since you say the county is full of Northerners and other assorted snowbirds, then my general statement targeted Northerners and snowbirds, which begs the question, why are you accusing me of making snotty remarks about Southerners?
FYI, I am a great admirer of Southern traditions and its people, having had the pleasure living among them in Florida, Georgia, Mississippi and Tennessee.
