Schindler Coroner Nixed from Terri Autopsy
NewsMax ^ | 4/1/05 | Carl Limbacher

Dr. Cyril H. Wecht, the well-known forensic pathologist and coroner of Allegheny County, Pa., told listeners of a morning radio show that he was denied permission to observe Terri Schiavo's autopsy, despite the wishes of her parents.

A medical examiner in Pinellas County, Florida, is conducting an autopsy that could help determine what Schiavo's state of consciousness was and whether she was abused by her husband, as the Schindlers allege. Wecht, appearing on the syndicated America's Morning Show with Quinn and Rose, based in Pittsburgh, said that an investigator working for the Schindler's law firm had called him on Thursday to see whether he would be agreeable to observing the autopsy.

Dr. Wecht told Quinn and Rose he was certainly be agreeable to that, but that several hours later he received word that the medical examiner had declined to give him permission.

Dr. Wecht told the morning hosts that he considered this a mistake, according to Rose Somma Tennent. "He said that, if this were in [his] office, [he] would have said sure - not just because of professional courtesy, but because of the controversy sourrounding this case," Somma Tennet said.

Calls made during the show to the medical examiner's office were not returned.

The results from the autopsy are expected in a few weeks.

I will look for the source, but I know I read a story last weekend that stated that nearly $1 million was still held in trust for Terri (which automatically goes to Michael on her death).

This Atrocity is Judicial Murder by Starvation and Dehydration

ALL JUDGES INVOLVED SHOULD BE IMPEACHED FOR CONSIPIRACY TO MURDER

Guardian Ad Litem. He's been all over the news. His name is Jay Wolfson. Doctor/Lawyer/Professor.

The point is, the claim that MS has a big windfall waiting for him in the Terri trust fund has been debunked.

Why on earth would the Shindler's want Wecht?
He's been on several TV shows wherein he has
predicted the outcome of the autopsy will show
her completely vegetative.

Why should Wecht be admitted to the autopsy? Who the heck is he to have anything to say? From what I've seen on cable news, he is just one more media stooge, dancing to the tune of his employers, in this case, the Schindler family, who seems to be set on trashing the husband at every turn.

Here's what we know for sure regarding the money for Terri Schiavos care. She was awarded 1.4 million. Half of that went to the attorney in the case. Another half million or so was spent by MS on attorneys advocating for her death. So out of the original 1.4 million we know that at least 1.2 million went into the pockets of lawyers.

Death be not swift enough: fraud fighters begin to probe the expense of hospice care
US News & World Report, March 24, 1997

George Molnar's cancer spread from his kidney to his bones, making them vulnerable to breaks that gave him terrible pain as he was dying. Nurses from the Hospice of the Florida Suncoast adjusted his pain medicine almost weekly, while the hospice's health aides cared for him at home.

So do I, but it was an accident. I can handle their taunting, that is no big deal. But I would normally refrain from posting something that harsh out in the open. But what can I do now?

I wish that those personally involved in the saga would quit using it to garner their 15 minutes of fame.

What is MS trying to hide?

My $0.02 says aggravated battery for starters.
Schiavo is a two-legged maggot.

If you don't know who Michael Baden is, you're not very familiar with forensic pathology.

Precisely. I'm not. That's the point.

I thought Henry Lee was more an expert on blood/DNA identification, but you're spot on with Michael Baden. My cousin's not well known (actually, he's not known at all), but he also works in an ME's office. I asked him if he was doing the post in a controversial death, would he want another pathologist in there and he said "it wouldn't bother me. I'd just tell him that he needed to be quiet and not interrupt while we were doing an official post, because it can be claimed later that he/she might have influenced the findings. But no, it wouldn't bother me. I have doctors from hospitals observe my autopsies all the time."

Really? You wouldn't happen to have a cite to any documentation of that, would you?

"But as to broken bones, etc., I don't expect to find them..."

IF an autopsy bone scan DID show fractures, would the bones themselves be examined?

hypthetical, of course, because the ME won't find ANY fractures in this autopsy.

I'm watching the old Rescue 911 on the Discovery Health Channel. Great show, especially for teaching safety to chilldren. Have you ever noticed how many brain injuries are on that show?

One other certainty:

Michael Schiavo will be able to sell a lot more books than he would have if he had "lost" the court battles.

Dr. Cyril H. Wecht, the well-known forensic pathologist and coroner of Allegheny County, Pa

a renowned pathologist like this denied? They are afraid, very afraid. He is a professional -- the fix is in, he would know if there was a cover-up....
