Schindler Coroner Nixed from Terri Autopsy

Dr. Cyril H. Wecht, the well-known forensic pathologist and coroner of Allegheny County, Pa., told listeners of a morning radio show that he was denied permission to observe Terri Schiavo's autopsy, despite the wishes of her parents.

A medical examiner in Pinellas County, Florida, is conducting an autopsy that could help determine what Schiavo's state of consciousness was and whether she was abused by her husband, as the Schindlers allege. Wecht, appearing on the syndicated America's Morning Show with Quinn and Rose, based in Pittsburgh, said that an investigator working for the Schindler's law firm had called him on Thursday to see whether he would be agreeable to observing the autopsy.

Dr. Wecht told Quinn and Rose he was certainly be agreeable to that, but that several hours later he received word that the medical examiner had declined to give him permission.

Dr. Wecht told the morning hosts that he considered this a mistake, according to Rose Somma Tennent. "He said that, if this were in [his] office, [he] would have said sure - not just because of professional courtesy, but because of the controversy sourrounding this case," Somma Tennet said.

Calls made during the show to the medical examiner's office were not returned.

The results from the autopsy are expected in a few weeks.

I'm sure the death to Terri crowd will be out in force discrediting this medical examiner, that seems to be the pattern.

As usual, Michael Schiavo can't help but act guilty.

So is the ME connected to Michael and his ghoulish crowd?

This guy is probably a Christian which disqualifies him for EVERYTHING according to the Schiavo/Felos crowd.

The the local medical examiner do their job. If the Schindler's have their pathologist do an examination then Schiavo will insist on having his do one as well. Hasn't she been violated enough?

Is there any official in that county that isn't crooked? What a hell hole of a place.

I'm not saying that at all, the Pennsylvania medical examiner simply wanted to observe, NOT participate.

You durn tootin! Just why would they deny participation?

So, you expect us to believe what the coroner in the same county as Judge Greer and the overwhelming force of the euthanasia society will dare to report anything negative about Michael?

And you believe we are all that dumb? That whole state is sewn up for the euthanasia proponents, Felos, Greer and all. Even the legislature defaulted on their lawmaking duties and signed over that duty to the end-of-life panel. So that the panel recommends and recommendations are automatically inserted as law.

Open your eyes while you still can.

All they wanted was an observer. That was a reasonable request.

"several hours later he received word that the medical examiner had declined to give him permission."

Imagine that.

"The results from the autopsy are expected in a few weeks."

Could have probably been released a week ago...

I hope these parents sue this bastard for every dime he has via wrongful death suit and makes his life miserable.

If the local examiner does it alone, it could lead to calls of corruption. Let the other ME in and eliminate that possibility.

I've never heard of an ME locking another ME out of an examination. This sounds almost like a copy of Vince Foster.

Nothing will come of this autopsy. They got the diagnosis they wanted, and they will get the autopsy report they wanted.

Of course, the governor has concluded any involvement in seeing justice done, even though there is still a chance for a little bit of it.

Felos can come out periodically and give us updates. "I just saw Terri, and she's never looked so beautiful ..."

Waiting for the usual suspects to roll in and trash Wecht, one of the best in the business.

What is MS trying to hide?

As I said three days ago the report was being written. If they will not allow independent observation of the autopsy then that meant that they are afraid of something or that they have something to hide. Is this medical examiner on the board of the Hospice as are the Sheriff and the Lawyer?

just as i thought. the autopsy will be another crooked pinellas county cover up. dollars to donuts that the ME has ties to these other "board of director" members of the hospice - just as george felos was a member of the board and one of his medical experts was. this people are all interconnected and are all covering up for each other. i wonder who else these ghouls down there have done in and how big a pile of corruption they're covering up?

*******************************

The coverup pattern continues!
