"Wherefore, my dearly beloved, (as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only but much more now in my absence) with fear and trembling work out your salvation."
Philippians 2:12
2 Timothy 2:11-12; 1 John 3:19-24; Romans 11:22-23; Matthew 18:21-35; 1 Corinthians 15:1-2; 2 Peter 2:20-21
"I believe St. Paul writes somewhere that God will not test us beyond our means. Obviously with the charge to help take down state sponsored atheistic communism and to stem the tide of modern materialism and nihilism John Paul the Second was "given" an extraordinary "test" to pass. But, as St. Paul wrote, God would also give him the means. And to me, that means some exceptional GRACES which he, by his cooperation with the will of God through total consecration to the Virgin Mother Mary, in part earned himself. Sanctity, or even being "saved" for that matter is not soley a one way street. Karol Wotyla is also a "self-made man". He is a true hero."
Incorrect? You are saying that John 3:16 is incorrect? Yes, that is exactly what you are saying, because all I replied with was John 3:16.
I never said anything about "belief alone". If you believe a car is coming, you get out of the way. Action is a part of belief.
