Confirmed.
Chanting Litany of the Blessed Virgin on Fox news now, beautiful.
It's beautiful, isn't it? The different languages today have been a joy to hear.
My parents think the Pope will die on Divine Mercy Sunday. I wonder if he'll hang on that long.
No offense intended. I saw irony, and I guess others did not. Too sensitive right now I guess.
Thanks for the welcome, btw.
There is something unsettling about the fact that everybody hangs around in cyberspace circling like vultures, just waiting for this man to die. What is it? Like, the first 500 cyberprayers posted on the internet all get a free sin absolved? Just seems a bit morbid, that's all.
They're chanting the Litany f the Blessed Virgin now on Fox news
Oh, it really is, isn't it??? I love when they do The Littany this way...!!
I don't mean to be disrespectful during this unfortunate time...
But can someone explain to me, a Protestant, why Catholics pray to Mary? The Bible says there is only one mediator between God and man, Jesus. And why do Catholics call the Pope "Holy Father"? I was just reading a passage in John where Jesus is praying for the disciples, and he says, "Holy Father," to address our Heavenly Father, God.
Just wondering and hoping to understand better.
Fox is losing it, IMHO!!!!!!!!
Glad to help! I did a Google image search on 'Karol Wojtyla' and it eventually turned up.
Watching Fox News, all this coverage, explaining the rosary, hearing the Litany in Latin now being said and I think, even in his death John Paul is evangelizing all over the world. Can you imagine hearing the rosary being prayed on FoxNews? And think of all the Catholic coverage that will be on the air for the next 20 or so days. Our Holy Father Pope John Paul II is still at work.
Just human nature. Look at all the people in the Square.
It's not morbid. We're not exactly gleeful about this like people were when they went to public hangings...
yes it is! i haven't heard this in decades!
And I think he always will be.
saying this as a Protestant, there is a better time and a better place for questions like that.
Jeez, they just broke in!!!! I thought they'd do the right thing and not break it but, oh well.... I guess they did more than the other jokes (CNN, MSNBC etc,)
Oh no. You watch Days too? what a moronic show lately. I'm about ready to pull the plug on it. All the wrong couples are together.
