Fallujah post-mortem
Some Marine units moved through Fallujah in November with Arabic translators. The infantrymen wanted to be able to eavesdrop on the terrorists' radio net.
A Marine told us that, roughly translated, one terrorist was heard to say: "We are fighting. But the Marines keep coming. We are shooting, but the Marines won't stop."
The Marines, backed by Army tanks, captured Fallujah in 11 days and with it the last large base for Abu Musab Zarqawi.

That Clinton stooge was the infamous Sara Lister, Secretary of the Army. She and her fellow feminazis were hellbent on feminizing the military. The remark that got her fired was that the Marines "...were a bunch of extremists." I wrote a letter to her in the wake of that remark which I signed "Contemptously yours,"

I was in the Middle East, onboard USS Peleliu when that event took place. She also made a comment that US Marines were nothing more than "checkerboard chess men all dressed up to impress." She added, that we were not worthy to be called dirty boots of the military because we had not earned it. Like you mentioned, she was fired several days later. The response made by so many Marines shut down email for several days.

Last time the US fought England it lost. We never lost against England. Otherwise we would be drinking tea instead of coffee. We lost a battle or two but not the war. Invading Canada didn't work out too well but still we won the war of 1812 and anyone who says different is simply trying to make themselves feel better. You are probably English because that is their myth, that we lost and England simply let us keep America out of the goodness of their heart.

"the US Marines will be the ones that settle the score." The ledger shows a couple more payments due.
And we'll collect 'em too.

Was Sara Lister one of Hillary's picks? If she wins in 2008, the second Clinton administration may be like the first one on steroids when it comes to the U.S. military.

The contempt shown to the Rangers by the Clinton Administration in the wake of the "Blackhawk Down" affair was just as bad. I was at Walter Reed recovering from being wounded there for three weeks before Three Dollar Bill showed up to visit us. Even then he was practically dragged kicking and screaming. He then showed his appreciation by making the distinct Black Beret of the Rangers Army wide issued headgear.
It never occured to him that it was his failed policy in Somalia that led to the disaster. He was blind to the fact that basically a company of Rangers, seperated into platton and squad sized groups had held on and fought off what had to be a division strength opposing force for most of a day and a night with less than 20 casualties. He never truly honored the courage of the men who fought and died that day.
This former Ranger will shed not a tear at the passing of this Bastard.

"A Marine takes orders, even orders to surrender, and obeys them."That would be a hard order to swallow, in hindsight, knowing how the Japanese treated their pow's, that would be one increddibly heck of a hard order to swallow....

Rivalry and jokes are always fun, especially when you're picking on Marines :^), as long as you remember we're all part of a larger team. And as long as the Marine is not there when you say it!! LOL

Hey George,
What the hell did they expect...

I could hear Bruces Willis

If Clinton had allowed that in Somolia, 9-11 would never have happened. Clinton's weakness was perceived by our enemies as America's weakness. Enemies are currently reassessing that perception. Soooo True. Too bad the MSM will never admit to that perspective. They cant wait for Clinton 2. Makes me sick.

All the more credit to the Marine discipline. The 4th Marines had been in China for years prior to WWII and knew well that barbaric behavior of the Japanese.
Its the same discipline that brought victories like Iwo Jima and Okinawa.

I can only hope that the enemy killed was under-reported by 2x or more.

How stupid do you think these people are? Nothing has been given away that will help them and it isn't like they read American newspaper in any case.
In fact, broadcasting their despair hurts them.
