Just wondering what the difference is. Not saying that there isn't, but I'm interested in hearing why.

You're kidding? Okay, if you are disconnected from one, you will pretty much immediately drop dead. If you are disconnected from the other, it takes you 10-14 days and you will die a painful death from dehydration and starvation. Kind of like setting a baby in a crib and just walking away.
