Actually they are being remarkably mature on the one thread I visited. Of 140 or so posts only 4 are snide or joking. Almost all are just R.I.P. Definitely a surprise.

It's a sad commentary when the scum at DU is more compassionate than a lot of FreeRepublics "Finest".
I'm convinced more than ever there are a large number of long time moles in FR who have stayed around long enough to be "Protected".
