"Michael Shiavo did not allow Terry's family to be with her as she left this earth. "

I hear this was the case.

Sad indeed.

The media also noted that Michael had been living in the hospice since March 18th, the day the feeding tube was removed.

This was inserted apparently to show he cared:

""It was evident to everyone around him, the profound emotion and loss for Mr. Schiavo. It was clear to everyone he loved Terri deeply and her passing was a tremendous loss for him." "

I'm at work now and I'm deep shaken and sad however I think it must be asked if there was profound emotion and loss - why didn't he realize her parents emotions and have a change of heart in allowing them to be with her as she died? Could that not have been worked out?

It's somewhat hard to believe that he suffered a terrible loss.

Michael Schiavo has gained the status of, say, OJ Simpson. With that said I hope the media follows this guy, as the vultures they are, for months to observe whether or not this was a great loss for him. Outward signs and behavior can be very telling.

She is resting in peace.

Take care all.

MS has already served notice to the world that Terri's loss is a gain to him. That notice was served when he melted two of Terri's gold rings to make his own and subsequently by producing two children with his lover.

MS is the lowest of the low-lifes. May this vermin's soul forever be haunted for the rest of his days, however short, hopefully.

God bless Terri and her parents and siblings and may she forever rest in peace.

I agree - I have a hard time believe he cared very much about Terri's wishes or her passing. A caring husband doesn't shack up with someone else and have illegitimate children while waiting for his wife to die. If it weren't for that and the curious circumstances of the malpractice money and withholding rehab, I might've believed him. Like you said, Idisarthur, actions will tell.
