I am 46 years old and have been married for 27 years. I had never discussed this subject with my wife until the last month or so because of all the publicity surrounding the Shiavo case.

Same here. My husband and I have been married 21+ years, and never discussed it until a couple of weeks ago. We found that the reason we had never discussed it was that we agreed on our plans to do anything possible to keep the other alive, for as long as possible. Because we love each other.

Life is precious, and as far as we know it only comes to each of us once.
