My God ... can you not have a day's respect for the dead?

Your image is not only in bad taste, it's particularly heinous and misleading given the fact that George W. Bush signed off on the Futile Care Law which empowered spouses with sole discretion to starve their failing spouses in Texas.

"misleading given the fact that George W. Bush signed off on the Futile Care Law which empowered spouses with sole discretion to starve their failing spouses in Texas."

You are being misled by the MSM.

The Texas law --- actually regulation started under Ann Richards --- WAS that, with 3 days notice, a hospital could "allow a patient to die" (kill) if it was futile, even over the next-of-kin's objection.

Bush opposed this. The best he could get out of the Democratically-controlled Texas legislature was: (1) the hospital could ask to pull the plug; (2) next-of-kin could oppose and appeal to the Hospital's ethics board (which was a two-week or one month process); and (3) if the appeal failed, the next-of-kin had 10 days to find a hospital to take in the patient (there are many who do so in Texas; chiefly most any Catholic hospital).

It was posted in response to someone posting the original Elian picture where Clinton and Reno ILLEGALLY seized Elian using the ATF to seize him and exile him to CUBA. It has nothing to do with Bush and Texas, but was to show the hypocricy and bad idea it would have been to have the President or his brother to have sent in the cavalry.

Sorry if you do not like the reality of the implied image.
