This is officially the "Reichstag Fire" incident for America as we know it.

I can't think of another instance in which an American judge knowingly authorized the murder of a helpless innocent. It is a landmark of a horrible kind.

Congress and the other states need to sign legislation OUTLAWING any further use of dehydration/starvation/ doping... It is in their power to limit courts jurisdiction (although granted they can't in an already decided case :( which was why Terri couldn't be helped), but they can keep it from becoming precedent for the future, if they'll only act. Otherwise we'll eventually see people knocking on doors saying, "vill you come vith us, pleaze? you're an inconveninece to society and you must be put down."
