I stand corrected. You are quite correct. Thank you for posting that.

You know, I've been thinking - the US needs to prepare from the coming tsunamis that will result from the earthquake caused by all those who sacrificed during the Revolutionary War turning over in their graves.

Her family's priest called her death murder.

If any pundit dare call it passing away...more the fool they are.

***But I'll pray that Michael's heart is softened and he learns the error of his ways.***

As will I.

I guess you're saying we should just surrender to the judges and make NO attempt to protect ourselves? Wrong. I am disgusted with the fact that hearsay was the deciding factor in this case. (My tinfoil hat is squarely fitted to my head, and I believe "Judge" greer took a payoff years ago from Shiavo, which is why he couldn't give a different ruling. Blackmail.) However, I intend to make my wishes known officially. There will be no hearsay if my life is in the balance.

May Michael Schiavo suffer a terrible and painful death and may he never know peace from this moment onward!

Ahhh what a comforting thought... yes let's spew hatred, that will help this tragedy along. (sarcasm/on)

Thank you for ephasizing the brutal control MS exercised over this whole process. It seems to me that even those who wanted Terri dead could spare a word of understanding toward the parents who were dictated to so heartlessly by this hyper-controlling man.

#548...Terri is gone....

..but I believe with my whole heart that this is a wake-up call for us, ...

..and if we heed it and take action,..

.. she will not have died in vain.

God rest her soul, and comfort her family.

..And may God bless you.

***Terry's ability to make choices (and therefore serve God) ended long ago.

Oh, so you are God now? How do you know what her purpose or service on this earth is?

***There was no reason why she shouldn't have been released from this earthly plain years ago.

What about God's reason? She was here for some reason unexplainable to you & I. Where is your trust in God?

***God is merciful and if his will were done Terry would have moved out years ago.

How in the world do you know what his will is?

What arrogance....

We realize there are many that are on MS's side.

I never said I was on his side. I did say that he was and is a complete jerk.

They have as much right to be mad as you have to come in here and make your comments.

Yes, but I'm tired of seeing Terri Schiavo be damn-near deified on these threads. I feel sorry for her and her family. And while the cause was important, I have not seen anything to make me think she was any greater of a person than any other. What did she do that was so great?

What a sad, sad day...for Terry, her parents and our country. This has been the most sickening spectacle to witness. The courts should be ashamed of themselves. Where is the humanity?

Sorry, but that's not an appropriate response. Many bad things have happened in this country, but it is still our country.

We've overcome much, and will overcome more, but only if people stand by the USA and its underlying principles. Bad things have happened and will happen.

May I repeat that?

"What were pissed off about is the devaluation of life, to a point where there is no sanctity, no compassion, no love.........and that speaks to the condition of the heart of herr Michael, an unrestrained judiciary and a government more concerned about poll numbers."

1. To insist on holding onto a minimal shred of Earthly life does not protect and value life but rather deminishes the soul. Food and water is diminishing to the soul ?

2.The husband is the right one to make decisions about the spouse, not the parents. Ahhh- you mean the husband who has another family and has been living with another "wife" for 10 years ? That loving, faithful husband ?
