I think the law in the state of Florida is desperately flawed. I don't think someone who lives with another woman should be the legal guardian presiding over someone's life in a case like this. I don't think someone's life support should be discontinued in a case like this in the absence of written proof of the will of the patient.
The problem with what happened here is that it was legal. No higher court was willing to overturn this judge.
What will you do about that?
He was doing better until all this crap about Terri happened. Rev Falwell was also doing well until this Felos/schiavo murder by starvation plot came into being. I feel like a close family member was murdered by her abusive husband. We all loved Terri like a dear family member and I for one will never let this go.

GOP's constituent services was crying like a baby this morning on the phone. They just lost a chunk of their base.
There seems to be quite a bit of confusion/uncertainty both on the left and right of this issue. To say "end of life matters" is cut and dry is a bunch of nonsense. Of course end of life matters are confusing for the family members involved to say otherwise is to belittle the pain felt by millions of families who have struggled over these types of issues.

It is so much more than the pro-death crowd. I said years ago that they were making this out to be a pro-choice and pro-life (abortion) battle in those Euthanasia groups and in the media. The media has lied about this from the beginning,and they bear a tremendous responsibility for her death. They failed Terri because they think if she lived they would be even farther behind in their pro-choice brain washing of people.
Interesting (not so interesting, to me, it's more than a coincidence) also that the Catholic Pope and an American Reverand were/are in serious condition during this same week as Terri's passing, the Pope even needing a feeding tube....that the Bishop of Terri, who refused to condemn what was happening to her, was at near epicenter of last week's day after Easter earthquake.
And her parents WERE fighting for her

Contact Rep. Tom Delay of Texas. It appears he's going to do something about these judges. We've been asking him to assign a special prosecutor. Texas freepers have been talking to Delay on this because at this time, Judge Greer is in contempt of congress and Judge Whittemore ignored what amounted to a mandate by congress signed by the POTUS.
Shhhh... that kind of talk makes people uncomfortable.
We can't have that now, can we...
