Does anyone know of the thread/website that listed the protocol the hospice must follow (per M. Schaivo) once Terri's feeding tube was removed? thanks.
What's really sad is that some FReepers are so full of hatred for others that they would use a thread about Terri Schiavo's death as a forum for spreading hateful lies and smears.
I was pefectly content to just read this thread, and not participate, lest people angry at me from other threads get mad at my presence, and cause trhe thread to degenerate. I thought it was the least I could do for FReepers who were grieving.
Apparently even staying away from the thread isn't good enough...
Is anyone listening to Felos now? Peaceful death my @$$!!!
Didn't I see your name over at the WPPFF thread?
yeah -- that's what I just said.
And michael cared SOO much, that he's spent past 2 wks at the hospice in a room THEY provided for him.
Such was NOT offered to the Schindlers, who were provided for by the graciousness and kindness of a shop owner across the street. Not even when they were turned away, and told to check back every 1/2 hr, as Bobby was last night.
Felos attacking Fr. Pavone now.
Screw Felos.
A prayer for the faithful departed. A prayer for the souls in purgatory
Yes. Thank you very much for speaking the truth and speaking out.
A lot of people over there were not for having the feeding tube pulled. They were against the sudden "if you are against calling in the NG or having armed kooks storm the hospital you must be part of the Kill Terri Death Squad.".
Felos' statement about 'peacful death with dignity' doesn't sit right with me.
LOOKOUT, HEADSUP, INCOMING!! bullcrap
I'm not surprised he attacked Fr. Pavone, though, because Fr. Pavone firmly stands for life.
"misleading given the fact that George W. Bush signed off on the Futile Care Law which empowered spouses with sole discretion to starve their failing spouses in Texas."
You are being misled by the MSM.
The Texas law --- actually regulation started under Ann Richards --- WAS that, with 3 days notice, a hospital could "allow a patient to die" (kill) if it was futile, even over the next-of-kin's objection.
Bush opposed this. The best he could get out of the Democratically-controlled Texas legislature was: (1) the hospital could ask to pull the plug; (2) next-of-kin could oppose and appeal to the Hospital's ethics board (which was a two-week or one month process); and (3) if the appeal failed, the next-of-kin had 10 days to find a hospital to take in the patient (there are many who do so in Texas; chiefly most any Catholic hospital).

I understand that you are upset, but to wish harm on a child is not right.
Felos doesn't know but all his minions clucking agreement,...Rush shut him off!!
Sad.
God Bless you, Terri and God bless her family who tried to keep her alive. God bless those who felt she shouldn't be put to death based on the hearsay of her "husband".
May God reward her "husband", his "lawyer", all the "judges" and everyone who supported this act of legalized murder according to their words, their thoughts and their deeds.
So, are the WPPFF posters coming on this thread to start flaming....
