The Today Show, this morning, had the Schindler family spiritual advisor on the show. A Catholic priest, he said he was with her [Terri Schaivo] last night for about two hours. He "strongly disputed" those who say she is dying a peaceful death. He described her face as gaunt, eyes sunken, and completely un-responsive.
Terri appears to be in her last hours, and I can't imagine how her husband could continue to be so cruel. May she rest in peace.
I wish for Terri's sake that she passes when nobody is in the room. And I mean this with the most kindness of heart.
I shudder to think that the last face she sees on this earth is her murderous husband.
Lord, please take her swifly and carry her on angel's wings to Heaven. She's truly a martyr of euthenasia.
