Ah yes, "Hoffman Lenses". "They Live" is my favorite movie ever. That movie was full of analogies from start to finish, but my two favorite were:
- When Joe Nada had to nearly beat a good friend to death just to get him to put on the glasses, and see what the world's really like. I sure can relate to that lately. :)
- The street preacher: He was blind, but saw the spiritual battle more clearly than anyone else.
I recommend that everyone try to see that movie.

That's a heck of a scene. He has to nearly beat him to death just to get him to listen, and that's exactly just how the past few weeks have gone for us.
