I e-mailed my pastor this morning about Terri's death as I needed spiritual counsel as we all did I'm sure. Here is my pastors e-mail back to me. It was so comforting and thought I'd share it with all of you!

Dear Holly,

When I got the news of Terri's death early this morning, the first person I
thought of was you. I know how much she meant to you, and as I told you, I
admire the fight you put up for her. These battles can be so sad, especially
when lost. But take heart. Often, the turning point in a profoundly important
debate occurs, not in spite of, but because of a blatant miscarriage of justice
such as this. I pray the Lord will make it so. Courage and faith, sister.
Terri's in Heaven, but we're still alive and kicking, and not about to give up.

Blessings,

Pastor Andy

Now that was a nice letter. I have yet to talk to my one of pastors (also a friend) but he knows how upset I was, too. He told me last week after he prayed for Terri that he sensed the Lord saying, "This is my mercy toward her". He could tell I wasn't really buying it...I was convinced God would answer all our prayers.

Guess I should listen to him. :)
