"Listen To the Music", by the Doobie Brothers, and "25 Or 6 to 4" by Chicago. Have you ever heard "Without You" by the Doobies? (Listen here). You wouldn't know it was the same band. It's an amazing, hard-rocking number, best appreciated at ear-splitting levels.
I love "25 or 6 to 4," but "Feeling Stronger Every Day" is my favorite Chicago tune. It never fails to pick me up. The funniest part of the song, if you listen closely, is the "it's a gas, gas, gas" backing vocal. "It's a gas" sure sounds dated.

For some good Doobies I'd recommend the Vices/Habits album and Stampede. Songs such as Road Angel, Neal's Fandango. Any Doobies, pre-Michael MacDonald.

I was The Biggest Chicago fan when I was in High School. Everything they did was (and still is)tops in my book.
One of the fondest memories I have is one of the only times I carried the ball in a football game, the band busts into "25 Or 6 to 4", and the music pumps me up for an extra 15 yds and a touchdown. The only touchdown I scored in my sophomore year.

Chicago with Terry Kath was awesome. They just should have kept Cetera away from the mike.

Neal's Fandango and China Grove are also good rockin tunes by The Doobies.
