When I worked 911 several years ago we got a rescue call from the kitchen of a well known Italian Restaurant about a severed finger. The employee was transported with the finger but it could not be re-attached. Three days later my good friend from work and I were at that Restaurant for a birthday celebration and we started talking to the waiter about the incident. The three of us made such sick jokes and were laughing so hard half the Restaurant was laughing along with us, and nobody got grossed out. When I remember the incident I still laugh, but It was juvenile of us to do that. I believe this woman those knives are sharp and you do not even feel the slice until after you see the blood. It probably should not be blamed on Wendy's for the clumsy, careless employee.

If it had been a Wendys employee who lost the finger, that detail would almost certainly be known by now.
