Congrats to your son ... and be sure to remind him that there are thousands of Freepers who thank him for his service.
But subs are special to me ... I served on them as a Nuc trained officer. (I was in the last Nuc School class at Bainbridge, MD, which shutdown when the school was moved to Orlando for about 10+ years before it shutdown and moved to Charleston, SC.).
I have a son at USNA, and his dream is to go to Nuc School and become a Sub Officer.
