Kimchee is just a pickled product like sauerkraut or even pickles. I've never had the nerve to try the supermarket variety, but I've had some in a Korean restaurant that was wonderful.
Okay....I love sauerkraut and I love pickles, I even love cabbage,,, but you have to admit that kimchee smells much, much worse....lol
