The Magnitude 9.2 quake in the Aleutian Islands on March 9, 1957 (occured on First Quarter)...

The three huge roughly Mag 8 New Madrid quakes in 1811-1812 were one day after a new moon, two days after last quarter, and two days after first quarter, for just a few examples...

Remember, about 50% of a month will be three days before or after a full or new moon.

The problem isn't just cataloging quakes on a full moon; you need to pick a large area and many decades of quakes, and list ALL of them and when they occured, and PROVE a statistically valid relationship.

I know that the 3-day pre- plus 3-day post-full moon is a huge window, and they [the phasers] also claim the new moon window. That is 12 out of 29 or 30 days. If there is a statistical correlation it would be energy release versus timing rather than quantity of shakers that would be interesting.
