Thai news reporting a 3.5 meter (11 feet) tsunami has hit portions of Indonesia already.

That seems plausible. Much smaller than the Dec. 2004 tsunami, and this was a much smaller quake.

11 feet is still a killer though. (Although I imagine all the low areas are already destroyed and perhaps uninhabited). Some guy on TV said a 7.5 in this area many many years ago generated a tsunami that killed 400.
