I'm sorry, Theodore, but that's a lie. President Bush has NOT been missing in Terri's fight. He made a special trip back to the WH from Texas and signed a bill into law in the middle of the night to save one person's life: Terri's.
Who is missing in Terri's fight is Judge Whittemore, who ignored that Law and did is own thing. Why is your anger not targeted at HIM?
Of course, I am opposed to Whittemore. I had never heard of him until last Monday. Whittemore is a permanent government appointee and cannot be removed unless the House impeaches him and the Senate convicts. GWB could have used the National Guard to enforce the law of March 21 after Whittemore and the three-judge panel refused to grant the de novo hearing.
Look, we expected Whittemore to rule against Terri cause he is a Clintonoid! We expected GWB and JEB to save Terri because they are pro-life! Come to find out we can't even trust the good guys, or the guys we thought were good! That is what it comes down to me. The men and leaders we thougth we could depend on have walked away from Terri!
