Many of us are blessed to have husbands that love and care about us. I ache for the women in the world abused mentally and physically by theirs. I told my husbaand the same. I asked him to never starve me to death and he told me I had no need to worry.
And when my kids marry, I will ask them to put our names down as well if something happens to them. It'll only matter if they end up with a spouse from hell. My kids are all teens and have been quite affected by Terri's fight the last two weeks. I'm sure they'll remember this the rest of their lives.
This national tragedy has given me a chance to talk to my children about medical care. They know what is at stake because several of them are nurses.
