Mikey Shiavo and his little sweety, Jodi, will be very interesting when this is all over. Not for me, but they will bear observing.
The thing that truly puzzles me about this is the abnormality of it. When Mikey took up with Jodi, if the Schindlers had wanted to take Terri and take care of her for the rest of her life, it should have been no skin off his nose. In fact, in this country if any of us wanted to buy a Breeko block or a basket of turnips, make them a little altar in our homes, light candles and bring offerings of kumquat fruit to them every day and pray to them, we have the right to give our all to the endeavor of our choosing. Mikey chose not to give anything more to Terri, no rehab, allegedly nothing, but Terri's family wanted her - he didn't any more. - A lot has been said about Mikey's controlling nature, and I wonder if anyone has addressed that aspect from an angle of personal knowledge.
MS has said he and Jodi have no plans to marry, but since he's lied about everything else...
Terri probably made the fatal mistake of telling MS that she wanted a divorce. You don't tell people like him that, you run. With him, I don't think it's just about money, it's also about punishment. Terri needs to be punished for trying to leave. What a blessing that she wasn't able to have children with that bastard.
